Ein Bekannter von Ubisoft Blue Byte hat mich gebeten folgendes mal etwas zu verbreiten:

Build & Release Programmer [The Settlers] (f/m/d) (Junior / Intermediate)
This position will be located at Ubisoft Blue Byte, Düsseldorf (Germany).
Job Description
Your Tasks:
 Working on a AAA title using the Snowdrop technology
 Maintenance and improvement of the existing build pipeline
 Supporting developers with versioning software
 Setting up deployment pipelines
Qualifications
Your Profile:
 Strong C# / batch programming language experience
 Good debugging and problem solving skills
 Good communication skills and ability & desire to work as a team player
 Strong ability for analyzing and extending existing code
 Passion for making and playing games
 Very good English (spoken and written)
Preferred Additional Experience:
 2 years prior work experience in IT projects
 Experience with Perforce
 Experience with C# / Windows-batch-scripting
 Experience with Jenkins

Hach.... damit habe ich auch schon öfters geliebäugelt.
Solch ein Beruf ist ein bisschen wie der Feuerwehrmann-Traum als Kind. Und wahrscheinlich habe ich gerade deswegen mich für einen "normalen" Job entschieden.
Scheiß Gesellschaftlicher Einfluss :))

Mal sehen, bin ja noch jung. Meine Berufs- und Ausbildungserfahrung geht mit Anwendungsentwicklung auch in die richtige Richtung.
Mich schrecken halt immer solche Schlagwörter wie "ausgezeichnete XXX Erfahrung" und "sehr gute Englischkenntnisse in Schrift und Sprache" ab. (Bin ein bescheidener Mensch; und Englisch kann ich auch nur so gut wie andere meines Alters (und Bildungsstufe?))

Hab jedenfalls gerade erst meinen Vertrag unterzeichnet, deswegen werden die nächsten 2-3 Jahre in eine andere Tätigkeit fließen. Aber mehr Erfahrung schadet nie. Vielleicht wage ich mal diesen verrückten Schritt. Nur wer auch mal was riskiert, kann sich selbst sagen, vielleicht die richtigen Entscheidungen getroffen zu haben.
